I was thinking about House this morning, you know, as you do, and I was thinking about Kutner.
I was thinking about how people were saying, both in real life and in the show, that Kutner showed no signs of being suicidal but, upon thinking of it this morning, it occured to me that isn't true.
When Kutner was competing, he did several things that put his own life in danger. The one I remmeber is using the paddles on a wet patient. He did things that were ultimately reckless.
That can totally be interpreted as suicidal behaviour.
I have no idea if the writers planned on that being Kutner's exit even before he took that job, but I really do think they did a good job with that idea.
