A whole theory about HOUSE.
House...has a split personality that he doesn't know about. So he wouldn't remember what led to these events...on the surface of his mind.

That personality tried to kill Chase (with the strawberry stripper's body cream) REASON FOR ATTEMPT AT MURDER: Jealousy for finding happiness with someone who WANTED happiness with House
PLUS,the homicidal thoughts in the last episode...could be the evil side slipping through.
They say that they are filming things at that mental hospital next season.
Maybe House's hallucinations of Amber..who was basically a female version of House....are actually his split personality making itself known to him?
and he gets put away because of it???
