If you're not on Twitter, you likely haven't even known about it, but he's been trying to rally votes for almost a week now. The Gwendolyn Strong Foundation is currently stuck in 6th place, and only the top 5 are considered "winners" that will receive a donation of $1 million.
To better understand, here's a video about the cast supporting Lerner/his son and the SMA foundations a few years ago:
There's also a video on the charity website that gives more info on the cause. Regardless of the connection to House or any other potential benefits, it's an incredibly worthy charity and it would make a huge difference to them if we could get the foundation up into the Top 5 (and keep it there) before the voting ends tomorrow night -- January 22nd, 11:59pm EST
